GM shows the new “hot-rod”
GM is more alive than ever and proof of this is the amount of mechanical solutions that you just put in circulation, including a new engine for people looking to make your car more or less successful.
This new bloc, known commercially as E -Rod LS3, is basically a V8 capable of yielding as much as 315 horsepower, a really good solution to hit the market at a price of 5107 euros.
Now, what is happened to General Motors to show the public this new bolque? No less to ride in a 1955 Chevrolet pickup.
LupiniPower Chevrolet Super Ute
LupiniPower, a coach of that until now had not even heard of and apparently is based in South Africa just jump into the fray thanks to a work to admire where not only dazzle the 20-inch wheels.
As you can see we have a Chevrolet SS Ute originally equipped with a magnificent series V8 engine capable of rendering an output of just under 300 horsepower, power seemed to be laughable because the boys have decided to directly LupiniPower rid of it
Something big you have to be planning to get rid of an impressive V8 engine, as fat as the incorporation of a new 6.2-liter supercharged V8, just like when you carry in your engine compartment and the Corvette ZR1 is capable of yielding 535 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque.
Now, what can you expect from this new mechanic? for nothing less than a pickup capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.4 seconds, as well the title of this post, which can reach a top speed of 280 km / h.
To improve the dynamics, which is important in a vehicle that has increased its power as to the beast like this, the South African coach has been installed, including new equipment much more powerful braking, Bilstein suspension, a limited slip differential and even a new 20-inch wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE050 tires.
Finally, only tell you that this pick -up sports, according to its creators, is priced at “only” 91,500 euros, however, does he deserve really worth paying this price for one of these pick- up in particular?. In my opinion NO.
