It seems incredible, but one of the most satisfying vehicles (and reason for celebration ) has given Ford in America is their pick-up F -150, now face one of the toughest challenges, in addition to face resistance tests Ford planned for coming days.
The first test to which we refer is the registration of a unit in the famous Baja 1000, one of the most famous desert race in the world. Ford also claims that the engine has been chosen at random from the production line.
The pick -up F -150 “lucky” will face no less than 1,000 miles of desert in Baja California. With very long stretches at full speed and capabilities of chassis and suspension pushed to the limit, Ford ( recently used as testing the resistance in their vehicles) hopes to demonstrate why their pick -up can take them back into first place in U.S. sales this vehicles.
On the other hand, similar units will face more trials and one of the toughest will be towing two cars of NASCAR, for 24 hours straight, inside an oval. When finished, disassemble the engine and engineers will complete the degree of wear on internal components. Ford seems to have taken the new F -150 EcoBoost to heart.
