Chevrolet Cruze Sedan Sales Leads WorldwideGM has improved by four tenths market share, reaching 11.9% of the global automotive industry. Sales have risen in all four regions (North America, South America, Europe and International Operations GMIO), in which GM has sold a total of 9,025,942 vehicles, compared with 8,385,484 in 2010.

The main market is America, with total sales of 1,775,812 vehicles, up 13% more than in 2010. China has reached a record 595,068 units sold, up 9.5% on the previous year. Other markets where sales have increased significantly inter include Vietnam (79%), Russia (49%), Turkey (30%) and Germany (21%).

Chevrolet is setting its global presence by offering cars like the Cruze, Aveo (Sonic) and the Spark, the new Malibu sedan, the Orlando MPV and pick up the Colorado, which are designed for various driving situations and preferences customers on five continents.

At the beginning of its second century of existence, Chevrolet continues to expand its global nature, with more than 60% of its sales outside the United States.
